We are looking for a Technical Animator/Rigger join our team to work on a new project implementing character and vehicle animations.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate across the art, design and programming teams to find solutions to issues with models, player and vehicle movement. The bulk of the role will be:

  • Skinning, Rigging and Animating characters and vehicles, and working with the art and design teams to bring these to life.
  • Working closely with programmers and artists to create and maintain an efficient development pipeline.
  • Set up assets in the the Unreal 4 game engine.
  • Assisting in the development of tools and working with the programming team to ensure these tools are continuously improved.

Required Experience

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and it’s pipelines.
  • Experience rigging characters and vehicles in Maya.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially with regards to character deformations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Experience

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
